We spent two days in Barcelona. A cheerful, colorful, new and old town, sometimes with beachy coconut and filled with air, the sea sometimes seems so far away ... Two days in a big city is little, jindal drilling and industries limited but it's always better than nothing! And despite the forecast of rain totally discouraging, St. Peter was our comrade and the time was a beauty! jindal drilling and industries limited
That first day we started by Plaça de Catalunya, figurine stamped as a starting point for many tours. It gives access to two important streets of Barcelona, Las Ramblas and Passeig de Gràcia, but each one is to one side.
We started down the Ramblas. Full of trees, stands of souvenirs, small tables to enjoy a sangria, artists and people. Many people. We read in many places that is dangerous. I believe that because jindal drilling and industries limited of the amount of tourists, pickpockets have a field day and no one realizes. But I found it very quiet.
More or less at the beginning, the right side is the famous Sant Josep market, called "La Boqueria". It is a market packed foods hams, or jamons in Spanish, and a lot of delicacies to make your mouth water and also to behold!
Still on the right side, a narrow street that comes out of the Ramblas is the Palau Guell, mansion that brought fame to the Catalan jindal drilling and industries limited architect Antonio Gaudí. jindal drilling and industries limited Down the Ramblas on the left, goes to the Barri Gotic (Gothic Quarter), the true center of Barcelona. As the weather was good, but the forecast was for rain, we decided to go down and only then enter the Gothic neighborhood. La Rambla ends at the monument to Christopher jindal drilling and industries limited Columbus, where he points out the direction of the Americas.
There begins the harbor Barcelona.Mas no mistake, hence you can not see the beach. It is in this region, across jindal drilling and industries limited the bridge, jindal drilling and industries limited which is the Barcelona Aquarium. I was dying to go, but ended up not working time. The pictures I've seen on the internet are beautiful, but the investment is kinda high (18 euros for adults).
Walking down the Passeig de Colom to Via Laeitania, you enter in the Gothic Quarter. First walked through a deserted street, jindal drilling and industries limited because I have not chosen the best way, but he has moved, tight, or not streets, and with enough trade. We passed the Basilica of Santa Maria Del Mar and opposite the Picasso Museum, one of the most popular attractions of Barcelona. As time was short, we spent only on even and a council, if not to go or need to go on, because there is not no grace.
From there to the triumphal arch and also passed in front of the Parc de La Ciutadela. This photo museum is located inside the park, but I do not know what it is. This park has a beautiful fountain, but not as we knew it was near the entrance, just not seeing because we better get back to the cathedral to enter. And at the exit of the cathedral music and dance to embellish the evening of Barcelona.
We went down the side street jindal drilling and industries limited from the cathedral jindal drilling and industries limited and we ran into a side entrance of the church. An open space in full church. Super cool! Can you go inside too, but we had not seen.
For the same side street comes to the Plaça de Sant Jaume, where one side is the Palau de la Generalitat (Palace of the governor jindal drilling and industries limited of Catalonia) and the other the House of La Ciutat (City of Barcelona).
